MEET THE X DANCE INSTRUCTORS
ANTHONY AND ROSE
"Dance is the vehicle, not the destination."
Hi! We’re Anthony and Rose.

We’re a husband-and-wife team who love dancing, teaching, and connecting with amazing people like you. Based in Orlando FL, we’ve dedicated our lives to making dance accessible and fun for everyone. Whether you’re just starting out or have been dancing for years, we’re here to help you take your dancing to the next level—both in-person and online.

We created X Dance because we believe dancing should be something anyone can enjoy, no matter where you are or what stage you’re at in your journey. And honestly? We’re just a couple of people who are obsessed with sharing the joy of dance, and we want to bring that joy into your life too!

Our Story

We both have pretty different beginnings, but dance is what brought us together. Anthony’s story started in the small town outside of Louisville, Kentucky. When he was young, he first stepped into the world of partner dancing when he began ballroom and Latin dancing. In the late 90s, honky-tonks and local dance halls were like a second home, and it was there that he found his lifelong passion for country dance, perfecting his two-step on crowded dance floors. It was more than just a hobby. It became a way of life, and those early years set the foundation for his passion for teaching and performing.

Rose’s journey was a little different. Raised in sunny Orange County, California, she discovered her love for dancing at a young age. Growing up, she was immersed in various styles of dance, from ballet, hip hop, and jazz, but it was partner dance that ultimately captured her heart. For Rose, dancing wasn’t just a skill. It was an expression of joy, freedom, and connection. And once she found partner dancing, she never looked back.

Our paths crossed not in a competition or a planned event, but naturally on the dance floor while we were both living in Nashville, TN. We were drawn to each other through our shared love for dance. From that very first moment, we clicked in a way that was more than just about dance; it was about a shared energy and passion that neither of us had experienced before. Since that night, we’ve been dance partners in every sense of the word. On the floor and in life.
